Greg Dukat, Chief Executive
Officer
Greg Dukat joined StarCite in July 2008 as Chief Executive Officer with a strong background in fast-growth technology companies. Prior to joining StarCite, Mr. Dukat served as President and CEO of Ventyx, Inc., a leading provider of service delivery management solutions for energy, utility, and other asset-intensive organizations (previously Indus International, Inc.). Under his leadership, Ventyx’s market capitalization increased five-fold in four years while revenues more than doubled.
Prior to serving as CEO of Ventyx, Mr. Dukat was CEO for 180Commerce Inc., a provider of reverse supply chain software to help companies more effectively manage and track returns. Previously, Mr. Dukat was Vice President and General Manager for the Southern region at J.D. Edwards World Solutions Company (later acquired by PeopleSoft), a manufacturer of enterprise and supply chain software. Mr. Dukat holds a bachelor's of science degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Keith Forshew, Chief Operating
Officer
Keith Forshew joined StarCite with 15 years experience across a variety of diverse industries, business models, and roles. Before he joined StarCite in May 2007, Keith was General Manager of Supply Chain Solutions at Click Commerce, Baseline’s 2006 No. 1 Fastest Growing Software Company. In his role at Click Commerce, Keith was responsible for P&L, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Channels, Professional Services, and Support and developed the 2006/7 acquisition strategy, APAC penetration strategy, market segmentation and new product introduction program.
Prior to his role at Click Commerce, Keith was Senior Vice President of World Wide Operations at Elance, a software as a service company. In his role at Elance, Keith managed P&L for all operations and was accountable for sales, inside sales, and telemarketing teams, value proposition development, demo development, pricing, deal structure and win strategy.
Keith received his Masters in Engineering from Southampton University in the UK, and his Masters in Business Administration from Cornell University.
Richard Fagan, Chief Financial Officer
Richard Fagan joined StarCite in
October 2007 as Chief Financial Officer. Rich is a seasoned public company CFO with a solid track record of achievement in driving and
communicating shareholder value based strategies in a high
technology environment. Most
recently, Rich was Chief Financial Officer of InterDigital
Communications Corporation, a Pennsylvania wireless technology
company. During his tenure as CFO,
InterDigital’s market capitalization has increased from
approximately $200 million to $1.7 billion. Prior to joining
InterDigital, Rich served as Controller and Treasurer of
Quaker Chemical Corporation, a multi-national specialty chemical
company, Rich also held various finance and accounting
positions with Scott Paper Company, Atlantic Aviation
Corporation and Amerada Hess Corporation.
Venky Rangachari, Chief Information Officer
Venky has more than 17 years of experience leading information technology and operations
divisions for large organizations, and on demand companies including Stratify, Digiprise
and Jacent Technologies. Venky was one of the early employees of Exodus Communications,
a leading Internet Data Center company which managed mission critical operations
for companies such as hotmail (MSN), eBay, Merrill Lynch, and Double Click.
Bob Bennett, Senior Vice President, Channels and Business Development
With more than 20 years of experience in technology and consulting across multiple industries, Bob is responsible for developing StarCite’s development opportunities through its strong partner relationships. Bob joined StarCite in 1999, to lead development of StarCite’s Supplier offering and most recently led the Supplier Market business unit for StarCite and was responsible for the continued growth of a greatly expanded global meetings marketplace. Bob also served as Vice President of Technology for StarCite.
Prior to joining StarCite, Bob was Director of Client Services for Razorfish, an interactive agency. Previously, Bob was a partner and founding member of the Manhattan office of Conduit Communications, a UK-based management and technology consultancy. Earlier in his career, he also served as Director for the Application Development Division of CGI Systems, Inc., an IBM Company.
Yang Cao, Senior Vice President,
Engineering
As Senior Vice President of Engineering, Yang is responsible for all engineering operations at StarCite in the US and abroad. Prior to this position, Yang managed and directed StarCite's engineering operations in China. Yang has more than 13 years experience in enterprise and consumer web applications.
Prior
to StarCite, Yang worked at Centrata Inc., a Kleiner
Perkins Caufield & Byers company, where he recruited and
managed a team of engineers in the US, Canada and India to
build and deploy a hosted application earning
multi-million dollars in revenue. Yang has also held
positions at E-Steam, Woosh! Enroute, and
QuickStitch360, which won the "Innovative Digital
Product Award" from the Digital Imaging Association.
Alison Galik, Vice President, Shared Services
As Vice President of Shared Services, Alison is responsible for training and customer care offerings, as well as overseeing content management and business intelligence units. During her tenure at StarCite, Alison served as Vice President of Adoption Management Operations, which included responsibility for implementations and attendee services.
Prior to joining StarCite, Alison was Vice President of Operations for American Express’s Business Travel advisory services unit. Alison led the integration of eCLIPSE Advisors into American Express in 2004 and was part of the management team that founded eCLIPSE in 2001. Prior to her tenure at American Express and eCLIPSE Advisors, one of Alison’s key accomplishments was the co-inventor and co-founder of myTravelbid.com; the first online corporate airline auction tool for small businesses. Alison served in numerous positions for Rosenbluth International, including Vice President, Operations & Business Development for myTravelbid.com, Inc., and General Manager of Product Strategy for Rosenbluth’s Supplier Relations department. Alison earned her MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Temple University and holds a Bachelors degree in Management from Rutgers University.
Sampath Gomatam, Senior Vice President, Product Management
Sampath joined StarCite in March, 2008 from Click Commerce where he was General Manager of the Contract and Service Management (CSM) and Master Data Management business units. Sampath had complete P&L responsibility for these solutions for Click Commerce and managed the overall strategy, the sales and marketing, engineering, professional services and support groups for these solutions. Prior to Click Commerce, Sampath held positions at Elance, Commerce One and SAP America. Sampath has a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University, Leavey School of Bueiness and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, India.
Betty McNulty, Senior Vice President,
Adoption Management
With over two decades of experience in the meeting and event planning industry,
Betty McNulty joined StarCite in January 1999 as Vice President of Operations. Later,
she assumed responsibility for corporate products and services and was promoted
to her new position in January, 2005. She is currently responsible for customer
relations, major account management, customer services, product fulfillment, strategic
sourcing strategies, and all professional services for StarCite clients.
Previously Betty spent 13 years as a member of the senior management team at McGettigan
Partners, Philadelphia, focusing on the strategic development of the leading meeting
and incentive management company. During her tenure there, the company grew to over
$250 million in annual sales and more than 375 employees in 16 states. Betty was
Vice President of Sales and Operations for McGettigan's Eastern customer business
unit.
David O'Donohoe, Vice President,
Supplier Markets
With over 17 years experience in the Hospitality and Meetings Industry, David leads the Supplier Market business unit for StarCite and is responsible for the continued growth of a greatly expanded global meetings marketplace that links buyers with more that 60,000 hotel properties and meetings suppliers in every key market around the world. He has been with StarCite for two years and initially headed up Supplier Sales and Strategic Alliances.
Prior to StarCite, David was with the Regus Group as Director of Sales, The Americas, for meeting room and videoconferencing products. During his tenure there, the meeting room revenue grew three-fold in North America over a two year period. Before coming to Regus he was Director of Group Sales with Millennium Hotels and Resorts for the North American Global Sales Offices. David held several sales and marketing positions with Sheraton, Westin and St. Regis brands for Starwood Hotels and Resorts and with Omni Hotels. He began his sales career as an Account Executive with Dean Witter Reynolds in New York.
Mark Phillips, Managing Director, International
Mark Phillips joined StarCite in January 1999 as one of the company’s first employees, and he is currently responsible for executing StarCite's global growth and business development strategies. During his tenure, Mark served as Product Manager, ensuring that best-in-breed products were developed to meet client needs; Executive Producer of the company’s website; and Director of software services and development.
Prior to StarCite, Mark was Director of Consolidations, Software Development, and iImplementation Services at Philadelphia-based McGettigan Partners, where he worked in a variety of management and support roles for eight years. Over that time, he directed the strategy and implementation to consolidate meeting spend and practices at more than 18 corporations. Mark began his career in the hotel and hospitality industry, working with companies including Hilton International, Embassy Suites, and Cunard.
Pieter Rieder,
Senior Vice President, International
In his role as Senior Vice President, International, Pieter Rieder manages StarCite’s expanding European operations team and client base. He also leads StarCite’s strategic growth, sales and partnerships in Europe. Before joining StarCite, Pieter was Vice President/General Manager, Business Development, for American Express Business Travel Europe, where he was responsible for the regional sales function, multinational sales and relationship management alignment, and sales effectiveness support functions. In this position, he redesigned the sales process, improved efficiency and significantly enhanced growth. Before this, he held several senior positions with Rosenbluth International, including Vice President, International Development, responsible for all locations outside the U.S. and Western Europe, where he led EMEA strategic new business initiatives and development from Rosenbluth’s European headquarters in London.
Steve Widdoss, Vice President, Human Resources
Joining StarCite in March 2008, Steve comes to StarCite from Unisys Corporation where he served as Director, Human Resources, providing global leadership for Global Sourcing and Technical Services, with responsibility for North America, India, China, Hungary, UK, Continental Europe, & Brazil. Steve also managed off-shoring growth of India, China, and Hungary facilities from 900 employees to over 2500. Prior to Unisys, Steve was Senior Director, Human Resources, Barclaycard US where he supported the rapid growth of Barclays from a start-up credit card company to a top 20 organization in the industry. Before Barclaycard, Steve was First Vice President, Human Resources at Chase Card Services. Steve has an M.B.A. from the University of Delaware and a B.S. from The Pennsylvania State University.
Patrick Williams, Senior Vice President,
Corporate Sales
Patrick Williams, Senior Vice President of Sales at StarCite,
has over 20 years of technology sales and executive management experience. Patrick
brings a proven track record of implementing successful sales organizations and
executing high-growth strategies for both pre-IPO and publicly traded global technology
companies to StarCite. Prior to StarCite, he was vice president of worldwide sales
of BackWeb Technologies and vice president of U.S. sales at Recruitsoft (now Taleo),
where new customer revenues increased 78 percent year over year during his tenure.
He has also held executive positions at companies including 3Com and Hewlett Packard.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University
of Texas at Austin.
Kevin Young, Vice President, Marketing and Mid-Market Solutions
Kevin brings more than 15 years of strategic marketing and communications experience
to StarCite. Prior to joining StarCite, Kevin was Vice President, Marketing, for
SAP North America. Under his leadership, SAP moved from the #3 to #1 enterprise
software vendor in the US and grew market share from 24% to 41%. Kevin has also
led marketing teams at CAST, FreeMarkets (now Ariba) and Microsoft.
P. Pete Zografakis, Vice President & General Counsel
Pete Zografakis has served as Vice President and General Counsel since March 2008. From April 2006 to March 2008, Pete served as the Vice President and General Counsel of Health Benefits Direct Corporation, a publicly-funded company specializing in the direct marketing of health and life insurance and related products to individuals and families through an online marketplace. Prior to his tenure with Health Benefits Director Corporation, he was an attorney at Morgan, Lewis, & Bockius LLP, a global law firm. Pete holds a B.S. in accounting from The Pennsylvania State University, a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and an M.B.A. from Temple University Fox School of Business and Management.
